As South-East Asia and Asia Pacific regions continue to see growth in Tobacco markets, WT Asia is heading back to Indonesia in 2019. After China, Indonesia is the second largest cigarette market in Asia and also benefits from high domestic consumption figures. As the large majority of raw materials are domestically-sourced, the Indonesian market is more stable than those subject to foreign exchange rate volatilities.

WT Europe deemed a great success

With the Balkan region being one of the most predominant manufacturers of leaf tobacco in Europe, it seemed a logical move to take the European event to Bulgaria. The exhibtion had over 75 exhibitors and alongside ran a free-to-attend conference. With over 1,00 attendees visiting the show floor over the two day event, WT Europe was hailed a success by the industry.
